Sleepy Hollow

By Car: New York State Thruway to Exit 9 Tarrytown (last exit before the Tappan Zee Bridge if you are going north). If you are traveling south its the first exit after the Tappen Zee Bridge. Travel North on Route 9 for 1.8 miles down the hill (past 3 gas stations on your left) to the 2nd traffic light. (The Sleepy Hollow Cemetary entrance and the Old Dutch Church will be on your right). Make a left onto Pierson/Bellwood Ave. (you will see a sign for Philipse Manor) Make a right at the first stop sign. Follow that road to the next stop sign and make a left onto Palmer Ave. Go through one stop sign. One block after that the road will fork; stay to the left. Cross a bridge over the train tracks and make a left into Kingsland Point Park. Once in the park follow the road through the upper parking lot. At the end make a left into the lower lot. Park at the far end and walk up a small incline to the old bath house. There will be a picnic table there. Please fill out the waivers on the table and HOLD ON TO THEM. (We trade you waivers for the gear.)

Nyack

From Upstate
New York State Thruway (87) South to Exit 11: left unto Route 59: Continue east – Route 59 turns into Main Street and takes you into downtown Nyack; Follow Main Streetdown towards the river and make a right onto Piermont Avenue; Follow PiermontAvenue 3 blocks to Depew Avenue and make a Left into Memorial Park.

From New York City, Westchester and Connecticut
Cross theTappan Zee Bridge to the New York State Thruway and take Exit 10 – the first exit after the bridge; Stay in left lane and follow the curves around andaround to the end - you will be making a U turn; After U turn Follow signs forSouth Nyack and make first right to Stop sign until you reach Clinton Avenue;Turn right onto Clinton Avenue; Continue two blocks and turn left onto PiermontAvenue; Follow Piermont Avenue 4 blocks and make a right into Memorial Park.
