CROTON POINT PARK RENTALS
At Hudson River Recreation, we want you to enjoy the freedom of the open water! We offer a variety of kayaks, double kayaks, canoes and SUPs for rental.
Most of the boats in our rental fleet are Recreational Kayaks. They are stable "Sit-on-Top" style kayaks, with open tops that make it easy to enter and exit the boat. They are great for first timers and beginners, families with children, and anyone looking for a fun, stress-free kayaking experience.
We also offer light Touring Kayaks which are "Sit-Inside" style kayaks with cockpits. These boats are faster and more performance oriented, less stable, and can be more difficult to enter and exit. They are not suggested for first timers. We encourage that all first timers join us for a guided tour or introductory lesson before renting a Touring Kayak on their own.
At Croton Point Park, why not rent our quality equipment for an unforgettable experience on the water? We offer hourly rentals of recreational sit-on-top kayaks and SUPs. This is a great way for adventurous first timers and beginners to enjoy the beauty of the Hudson River and Croton Point Park, as no experience is necessary for recreational rentals! Paddle out from our launch, explore the near shore areas and gaze across the wide expanse of Haverstraw Bay. With our wide variety of equipment, we are here to help you enjoy a great day on the water!
